CMA Announces Fall Dates for ‘Introducing Nashville’ European & UK Tour
Several of Nashville’s rising country artists will perform concerts in Europe and the U.K. later this year, as part of the Country Music Association’s Introducing Nashville tour this fall. Danielle Bradbery, Devin Dawson, Travis Denning, Chris Lane, and Rachel Wammack will take part, as the tour runs from Oct. 10-21 with stops in Oslo, Stockholm, Hamburg, Berlin, Amsterdam, Manchester, Gateshead, Glasgow, Brighton and London. Dawson will be joining Bradbery, Denning and Wammack on the European leg of the tour, and Lane will be playing the tour’s U.K. dates alongside Bradbery, Denning and Wammack. Tickets for all show dates will go on sale May 17 at 10 a.m. GMT, with the exception of the Oslo show, which will go on sale May 16 at 9 a.m. GMT. With its recent launch in March, Introducing Nashville has brought the Nashville-style songwriters round across the globe, with artists taking the stage together in an acoustic lineup to share the stories behind their songs with international audiences. “We are thrilled to be introducing this lineup of incredibly talented artists to international audiences and to revisit cities that we have toured before,” says Milly Olykan, CMA Vice President, International Relations and Development. “These artists are a great representation of what is current in Nashville right now – and a perfect way to showcase to new audiences how broad a genre country is.” Earlier this year, the tour welcomed performances from Brandy Clark, Dawson, Lindsay Ell, Lauren Jenkins, Logan Mize and Tenille Townes. Danielle Bradberry Celebrates Album’s Anniversary
On the one-year anniversary of the release of Danielle Bradbery’s intimately vulnerable album I Don’t Believe We’ve Met, she went directly to her fans to announce a special EP project celebrating the album’s most personal tracks. I Don’t Believe We’ve Met (The Vocals), available now, features “Worth It,” “Human Diary” and “Potential.” The three-song project celebrates the stripped-back vocal tracks from the original album, showcasing Bradbery’s powerful voice paired with the lyrics’ raw emotion. “I’ve always loved what happens to a song when you strip it down,” Bradbery shared with her fans. “You can hear moments of imperfection that you wouldn’t be able to otherwise. When I was writing and recording this project, I was in a really vulnerable and emotional place. On the day I had to lay down my vocals, I walked in the studio in tears… There’s something really special that happens when you allow yourself to be vulnerable in a space where you feel safe. I think you can feel that moment a little stronger listening to the isolated vocal tracks.”
