Dierks Bentley Adds Second Stage Line-up For Seven Peaks
Dierks Bentley and the world’s leading live entertainment company Live Nation have revealed the Whiskey Row Stage lineup, offering a stacked list of hand-curated artists ahead of the second-annual Seven Peaks Music Festival. The stage, which has already grown a reputation for providing “an eclectic mix of contemporary country artists and Bentley’s bluegrass heroes,” (Rolling Stone) will host artists Clare Dunn, HARDY, Lauren Jenkins, Larkin Poe, Kendell Marvel, Rapidgrass, Teddy Robb, Seaforth, Chris Shiflett and Rita Wilson. Dierks Bentley and More to Star in PBS Special
The countdown to filmmaker Ken Burns’ eight-part, sixteen-hour PBS documentary Country Music begins Sunday, September 8 with a special live concert recorded at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium. The two-hour music special features both songs and performers that figure prominently in the epic re-tracing of country music’s history. Dierks Bentley sings Waylon Jennings’ “Are You Sure Hank Done It This Way,” and also teams up with Dwight Yoakam to perform “Streets of Bakersfield,” which Dwight previously recorded with Buck Owens. Country Music: Live at the Ryman, A Concert Celebrating the Film by Ken Burns premieres Sunday, September 8 at 8 p.m. ET on PBS. The first installment of the documentary airs a week later at the same time.
