Runaway June & more take part in virtual Island Time Music Festival
Lee Brice, Jake Owen and LoCash are just a few of the acts confirmed to play during this year’s Island Time Music Festival, according to All Access. The event is going virtual due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021. Other performing artists include Runaway June, A Thousand Horses, Vince Gill, Blackberry Smoke, Levi Hummon and many more. Kellie Pickler is set to host alongside her husband, songwriter Kyle Jacobs. The four-night festival, which is in its 12th year, will return in February 2021. Created in 2009, the Island Time Music Festival benefits the children of Isla Mujeres, a Mexican island off the coast from Cancun. It supports The Little Yellow Schoolhouse, a school for special needs children, enabling kids to enroll in the school free of charge.

Runaway June’s Jennifer Wayne gets Married!
Jennifer Wayne and Austin Moody are married! The “We Were Rich” singer — who is one-third of the band Runaway June — and the singer-songwriter tied the knot in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, on Saturday, less than two weeks after their engagement. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Wayne, 38, and Moody, 29, opted to have a “very small” wedding ceremony on the beach with less than 20 guests, inviting only their immediate family and best friends. In early 2020, Wayne went through her own battle with COVID-19. “We are taking COVID very seriously and have requested that all of the guests receive a recent COVID test before attending,” the couple told PEOPLE ahead of their big day. “We are having the ceremony outdoors with plenty of room to social distance.” When the pandemic calms down, Wayne said they want to have “a big party in Nashville” to celebrate with all of their friends and family. Runaway June’s Naomi Cooke gets engaged
Runaway June‘s Naomi Cooke is engaged! Boys Like Girls’ frontman Martin Johnson proposed to Cooke, 30, on Sunday, PEOPLE can confirm. The two have been dating for a year and a half. The country trio member shared the news to her followers on Tuesday, posting a selfie to Instagram as she showed off her ring. “By the look of my nails, he surprised me,” she captioned the post. Cooke puckered her lips for the selfie while Johnson stuck out his tongue in true rocker fashion. Cooke — who performs in Runaway June with Jennifer Wayne and Natalie Stovall — received congratulatory messages from her trio mates and other country stars. Read the full story HERE.
